The ABC Office, built during a workshop with interns, craftsmen, and participants, is a unique structure made primarily of natural materials such as bamboo, earth bricks, mud plaster, and woven palm leaves. It sits on a CSEB block base with steel-reinforced concrete blocks supporting the bamboo truss members. The circular interior space is braced by tie beams made of split bamboo, and a prefabricated conical frame with a translucent sheet cover serves as a light well and ventilator. This office building is an impressive example of sustainable, natural architecture.
